Sarah's accomplishments
Sarah is a published essayist who has shared her voice on respected platforms, including speaking at Edinburgh International Book Festival and appearing as a guest on multiple podcasts.
In November 2023 Sarah’s essay ‘A Floral Tribute’ was published in a book called Adventure, curated by the Scottish Book Trust. Sarah also recorded an audio version.
In November 2023 ‘A Floral Tribute’ was one of two pieces selected to be transformed into a comic strip, by illustrator Zara Slattery.
In March 2024 Sarah shared her experiences of arranging her Grandmother’s funeral on the podcast How to Arrange a Funeral. The death of her Grandmother was the catalyst in bringing Sarah back to floristry. Listen on Spotify and the Full Circle Funerals website.
In August 2024 Sarah gave a reading of her essay ‘A Floral Tribute’ at the Edinburgh International Book Festival which was met with lots of eye-dabbing and sniffling.
